Celebrating over 30 years in the cladding industry.
Throughout its 30-year history, The Carvist Corporation has pursued and incorporated technological advances. The latest innovation for Carvist, which specializes in high-end glazing and cladding projects, is overcoming the inaccuracies often contained in relayed field dimensions.
So in 2008 we upgraded our technology for field measuring and invested in Leica® HDS scanning equipment. This equipment allows us to collect as-built data in a 3D environment that can easily be loaded into AutoCAD using Leica’s Cyclone® and CloudWorx® point cloud software. With an accuracy range of .25 inches in 900 feet, this data allows us to fabricate building components that fit in place the first time with no wasted man hours or material, saving or customers in the long run.
• Shortens on site labor durations
• Reduce exposure to accidents
• Reduces onsite mobilization footprint
• Provides clear high definition 3D images
• Import to AutoCAD, Revit®, Navisworks®, SolidWorks® and others drafting programs
• Available Online publishing and collaboration tools using Leica TruView® add-on
• Helps communicate constructability issues with clear as-built information
• Point cloud files can be forwarded and utilized by building operations after construction
