Established in 1981 by a team of highly experienced and extensively trained engineers, The Carvist Corporation has knowledge and experience in providing quality workmanship and outstanding customer service. The Carvist Corporation specializes in Aluminum Composite Panel systems, as well as Energy Saving Low-E Glass and Glazing systems and Aluminum Canopies & Sunshades. By utilizing the best quality materials available and state of the art technology like HDS scanning, AutoCAD and CNC fabrication, we provide valuable low cost solutions.
Our Experience allows us to handle any special condition, such as existing construction, historical renovations or the latest building codes and requirements. Members of our engineering staff personally supervise each project from inception to completion, working with architects and project managers to determine the best solutions for the inherent challenges. Careful consideration is given to such important factors as cost, schedule, aesthetics, energy efficiency, and maintenance.

George Ness
President
George’s career started in Peru where he was a member of the Constucciones Metalicas Union and worked as a designer of office furniture and safes. He then moved to Colombia S.A. where he worked for the Hunter Douglas Company as research and development manager for prefabricated Housing. After five years in Columbia with Hunter Douglas, George decided to move his family to California where he took a job as Engineering Manager for prefabricated housing at Hehr International. For 30 years now George has been the President at The Carvist Corporation in Placentia, California where is applies leadership along with diverse knowledge to pave the way for his company’s future.
Bill O’Connell
Vice President
Bill graduated from Southern Illinois University with a B.S. in Civil Engineering.
He moved to California and worked at Kimtruss Inc. designing and drawing wood trusses for residential projects in southern California. Bill was hired as a draftsman at the Gavin Company (a large glazing contractor in California). He worked as a draftsman and project engineer on the IBM Research Center in Almaden, CA, which at the time was an eight million dollar contract for the exterior skin of the complex. Bill was hired at The Carvist Corporation as a project engineer and spent the last 28 years as a project manager and the last 10 years as a partner. We have had one unique project after another managing the projects from the bidding stages through the design and construction. Each project had its unique design features and each project had challenges to overcome. We have completed every project we have started, successfully.
